Founded in 2011 by Julie Greenbaum, The Bucks County Group of Writers (formerly called The Neshaminy Writers' Group) is a writers' group that is open to people of all ages. The only requirement is that you love to write! The group discusses fiction, non-fiction and poetry and meets once a month via Skype.
In our meeting, we may also discuss writing tips, how to navigate the publishing industry, and other topics related to the world of writing. We also bring in authors and publishing professionals to talk to the group.
First time attendees, feel free to listen in on our discussion. After you attend your first meeting via Skype, you can submit up to 10 pages.
Once we have finished going over the submissions, I will reserve the last 15-20 minutes to TALK PUBLISHING!
The floor will be open to ask questions/share tips about publishing poems, books and short stories!
NOTE: We were meeting once a month at the Barnes & Noble, The Court @ Oxford Valley, Fairless Hills, PA
However due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, please note that our meetings will now take place via Skype.
Our next meeting is: Sunday, February 7th, 2021 @ 2pm.
